Meadow Creek is situated at the northern end of Kootenay Lake, about 40 km (25 mi) north of Kaslo on Highway 31, and is a gateway to some very remote country. Nearby Kootenay and Duncan lakes are easily accessible from this area. The northern end of the lake offers great opportunities for kayaking the thoroughfare between Kootenay and Duncan, as well as primitive camping sites.
