Situated on the western shore of Kootenay Lake and in close proximity to Glacier Provincial Park, Kaslo is a charming, noticeably art-oriented community. Kaslo is the final resting place for the S.S. Moyie, North America’s oldest restored sternwheeler. The Langham Cultural Centre is a fine example of Kaslo’s cultural heritage. Fishing charters, hiking trails to Kokanee Glacier and mountain biking trails offer numerous outdoor activities.
