Located 5 miles west of Sandpoint on Highway 2, the village of Dover was historically a lumber town with several large mills. Since its incorporation in 1988, Dover has a proud history and unique identity. It is connected to Sandpoint by a paved cycling/walking path and is on Idaho’s Panhandle Historic Rivers Passage Scenic Byway.
