49 Degrees North

49° North Mountain Resort has long maintained a place in Northwest skiing lore. We are located about 10 miles east of Chewelah in the Colville National Forest. Enjoy 3 basins, 2 peaks, 7 lifts on 2,325 acres. Our ski-in, ski-out condos are available for for those who wish to stay on the mountain.

Nordic skiers can enjoy our Nordic Trails which roll off into the forest where hundred year-old trees tower above the expansive corridors. You can also enjoy 25 kilometers of groomed trails with track and skate decks. Additional ungroomed snowshoe trails lace the Nordic Center, and Fatbikes are always allowed on the trail system. Lessons are also available for all abilities.
