Pend Oreille County Public Hospital District #1 is a municipal corporation established in 1921. The District owns and operates Newport Hospital & Health Services, Newport Community Hospital (24-bed critical access hospital), Newport Health Center (family practice clinic). River Mountain Village (residential care), and Seeber’s Pharmacy.
