Located on the spectacular East Shore of Kootenay Lake, Boswell is a quiet community where time seems to slow down, and the relaxation of being immersed in Mother Nature’s wonderland captures one’s soul. Take the time to visit “The Glass House” nearby, a building constructed from 500,000 empty embalming fluid bottles, forming a rather unique attraction. Slow down for the many deer and wild turkeys … and simply enjoy. Lockhart Beach Provincial Park has a small campground and across the highway there is a beach with picnic tables.
