Colville Pro-West RodeoJune 12, 2020 12:00 am - June 13, 2020 11:59 pmLocation: Fairgrounds
A rodeo has been held on this national holiday for more than 60 years. Festivities kick off on Friday evening with a Bull-a-rama that allows amateurs to try their hand at bull riding before they take a seat to watch the professionals compete. Cowboy breakfasts, parades and a dance complete the weekend excitement for all ages.
One of Washington’s oldest cities, Colville was founded in 1859 and is northeastern Washington’s second-largest city after Spokane. Visit Colville’s historic downtown and award-winning museum, or head to the mountains for hiking, biking, camping and huckleberry picking. Enjoy birding at nearby Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge, a haven for migratory bird species.
