The primary purpose of this 2009 Travelers Survey is to measure the effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) of the paid advertising placed by the International Selkirk Loop, Inc. (ISL), based on the percentage of people who responded to ISL advertising by requesting a Selkirk Loop Travel Guide, and then “converting†into visitors.
Additionally, this study measures effectiveness of publicity the Selkirk Loop received.
Another key purpose of the of the survey is to learn more about the demographics, activities, planning, and travel habits of those people who inquired about, and visited the Selkirk Loop.
Note: This survey reflects data only about people who inquired to the Selkirk Loop via the Selkirk Loop website, toll-free phone or reader response cards through advertisers during the period of January through October, 2008.
