Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area

The Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area is a 17,000 acre internationally recognized Ramsar site and home to close to 400 species of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and fish species.  There are over 30 kilometres of dike trails that are open year round with two observation towers to visit.  Recreational activities such as hiking, biking, bird watching, hunting and fishing are popular.

For educational tours, programs and events, visit the Kootenay-Columbia Discovery Centre  – they operate environmental programming within the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area.
