Blanchard, an unincorporated town, is located in the southern end of Bonner County on Hwy 41 13 miles/ 21 km south of Newport, WA and only 35 minutes north of Coeur d’Alene, ID. The population of Blanchard is approximately 1000. Blanchard has a rich history in logging and many regional historic sites are named after Blanchard’s early pioneers. Blanchard is home to a 650-acre development known as StoneRidge, a golf and recreational community and Stoneridge Resort where condo type accommodations are available.
