Created in the early 1890s, visitors can relive the town’s history with a tour of the Northern Railroad Depot which now houses the Pend Oreille County Historical Museum. Summertime brings the Pend Oreille Valley Lavender Festival to Newport City Park; plus, explore Colville National Forest for many year-round recreational opportunities.
